Best carrot cake ever !!! Super moist , love the delightful creamy icing .... Full of fabulous fruit and nuts ...and especially the pineapple... YUMMY !!
This is a nice bakery with delicious treats. My fiancé was so excited for this bakery to expand near our (old) apartment. Of course, we moved away so no more empanadas on the way home for him. He loved their empanadas!
Must try: Tiramisu, New York Cheesecake, Chocolate Pastry, Mango mouse. I didn't like the empanadas a lot. But other than that this place has very affordable prices and delicious cakes.
Fresh yummy cakes! I think the leche cake automatically comes with strawberry, which is fine and delicious I just was expecting a plain one. Weird that they use buttercream frosting on a leche cake, whipped cream would be better, but I just scraped that off and devoured the middle. I was also in one morning and heard they made empanadas from overhearing a regular customer ask for them. Not sure if this still is happening but I will be back soon to find out the next time a craving for leche cake arises!
A true Stamford hidden gem. Don't be turned off by the surrounding store and the small shop size. Our family loves ordering cakes from here. Our go to is the tres leches with strawberry. Sometimes I'll stop by for breakfast or a snack too. They have a BEC bread roll and a hot dog and cheese roll too. They also have empanadas. These items can be heated up if you request it.
Great small bakery that has lots of fresh bakery items. This is the place to get your fresh bread daily! I got the mini brioche, sweet bread and cookies. Loved the brioche and the cookies. Sweet bread was good but not really my type of bread. I want to try the French bread next and get more brioche. They have Italian cookies and they were crumbly, crunchy and good. Better than dimare where we have been going before. I also saw they had donut with pastry cream and another filled with caramel (?) definitely on my list to try next time. Small place and only street parking if you find them. But located right by downtown. And the prices are awesome! Everything plus bottle water came to 5.25!
This is a hidden gem!!! Everything I have tried so far is really good. They probably have one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. It's so fluffy and soft. The tres leche strawberry cake looks mediocre but it's soooo moist. Tiramisu and mango mousse are not bad either. what I absolutely LOVE is that their stuff is not overly sweet. I can't stand bakery shops that dump sugar into their food as if it's free. Giving 4-star instead of 5 because their flavors are awesome but the looks are kinda rough.
This cute little bakery is located on my way to school. While I am tempted to walk in there every morning, I have some self control. It is a cute little shop with cookies, pastries, sandwiches, pan dulce, cakes, churros and empanadas. For the empanadas they are pretty Big and come in either chicken or beef. The first time I went was in the afternoon and thy had run out of beef, so beware. I also had a churro, which wasn't the best, But I had also gone later in the day. The second time i went, I got pan dulce and an Apple turnover and 3 empanadas for a little over $10....Not bad. You have to spend at least$10 to use your card. The cookies do look good, so i'll probably try that next time, But for a cute bakery.... It's pretty good.
I LOVE this bakery. The workers are excellent and the pastries are phenomenal. I would 10/10 recommend. It's such a temptation going there but I have to stay away or I will gain weight but anyways, they opened a new location on Selleck street and we asked for them to try to copy a cake i found on Pinterest for a baby shower and they made the exact replica!! I was so happy!
